Finding festive things to do during the holiday season that you already have not done can be difficult sometimes. This Christmas was my very first Christmas being 21, so of course I had to finally try out the famous Miracle pop-up bar in Charleston, South Carolina! Here is my detailed review of the entire experience.
Atmosphere inside the pop-up bar
As soon as I walked inside the door I was speechless. The Christmas decorations were beautiful and extremely festive. They have multiple Christmas trees set up along with a Grinch and Santa figure by the door. The string lights were all over the bar which made the place look gorgeous. There was also outside seating with heaters, but we remained inside the entire time.
Overall the atmosphere was amazing! This Miracle pop-up bar was definitely the perfect photo spot for festive Instagram posts.
Yippie Ki Yay Mother F****r!
Yippie Ki Yay was the first drink I ordered off the menu, and it was my FAVORITE! This liquor inside this cocktail was rum which I am already a fan of, and also had flavors of pineapple and coconut. This drink was also not extremely sweet in my opinion. If you like tropical fruity cocktails then Yippie Ki Yay Mother F****r is definitely one you must try, and the cup it comes in was adorable.
Christmapolitan
My mom ordered the Christmapolitan for her first drink. I was debating between that and the Yippie Ki Yay drink, but decided to get the Yippie Ki Yay. Of course I had to try hers since I almost ordered it instead, and to my surprise I was not a fan of the Christmapolitan and was glad I decided against it. It contains vodka, elderflower, dry vermouth, spiced cranberry sauce, rosemary, and absinthe mist. I believe it was the elderflower and spiced cranberry sauce that I was not a fan of, but if you usually like those things then this drink might be the one for you. My mom also loved it because it was not very sweet.
Elfing Around
This was the second and final drink I tried at the Miracle pop-up bar. It is called Elfing Around and contains prosecco, gin, mulled wine reduction, grapefruit shrub, aromatic and orange bitters. This one was also delicious and flavorful! I could really taste the grapefruit shrub which added a lovely flavor. I also love prosecco so I already had high hopes when ordering this drink.
If you are above the age of 21 and are in the Charleston area during the holidays then this Miracle pop-up bar at Handcraft is something that is definitely worth trying! The cocktails are incredible and are not crazy priced. This is also such a fun spot to go to with a group of friends. I will be returning next year to this pop-up bar and am already excited to try more delicious drinks. If you are planning on going you can find the menu with all the drinks linked here.
Thank you so much for reading, and let me know in the comments if you have been to this spot or if you are thinking about going!
